Unit 3 - Trigonometry
Since Trigonometry is part of the name of the course, you know that this unit is important. We start with ratios and move to periodic functions. What that last sentence means will become clear as we move through the material. This is a long unit with quizzes after each section and then a big test at the end.

Transformations (Unit 2)
Transformation is a method of changing our basic functions. By approaching any function as a modified basic function, it is much easier to work with - we know what the graph looks like and what values are likely and/or valid.
This is a fairly quick unit. The dates below may be ambitious or they may be too slow. I will adjust as we go along. This is my proposal for right now.
10/15 Mini-Cooper Exploration pp.2-7
10/18 Check for Understanding pp.8-10
10/20 Single Transformations and Function Notation pp.11-16
10/21 Double Transformations and Practice pp.17-21
10/22 More Practice, Domain & Range transformations pp.22-26
10/25 Extra Practice pp.27-32
10/27 Computer Lab and Follow-up pp.33-38
